I have a couple strats, a tele, a LP standard, a hamer echotone, a PRS Soapbar II SE, and Breedlove acoustic. My strats get the most play time. Wanna see me butchering Smoke on the Water?

Hi all,
My name is Dave, I hang out in a few different forums and finally decided to join up here after lurking for a while. I'm 46 years young and have been playing guitar on and off for about 25 years. More recently, I'm working on learning to play Bass. I'm mostly a jam player, I've never played in a band, but I've played with a few bands. I would conservatively rate myself as an intermediate player, and that's probably where I'll stay for a while. I've been a Fender fan since I got my first Strat in '82 (I still have it). As you can see from my motley collection of guitars, I like a mixed bag of guitar sounds. I like to tinker with 'em too, so it's nice to have a few different models to work on.
Here's the guitar pr0n:

Missing from this photo are some recent purchases:
From Rondo Music-
Agile AL-2000 Cherry Sunburst LP copy with P-90s,
SX SJB-75C Jazz Bass copy (for the new "Dave the bass player" persona),
Jay Turser JTB-2B violin "Beatle" bass from eBay (I've always wanted a Hofner, but never could afford one).

I have a few amps, too:
Image
I don't have a bass amp yet, but I've been playing through a PodXT Live using bass amp models with good results.

Here's some pedals on my board:
Image
I can't fit them all on at once, so there's a few not pictured including a Janglebox, a Mu-Tron III, and four home-built pedals made from kits (Phase 90 clone, tremolo, Fuzz Face clone, and a Tone Bender clone).

When I have free time, I like to spend it in here playing with my toys:

That's about it, I'm looking forward to hanging around and maybe getting some advice on bass playing!

Cheers!
Strat Cat

i butcher it too. well, actually, it wasn't my fault. my guitar was defective. i had to file down a couple of the frets... it's all better now. my computer is too slow for video...

Jeremy D., Fender Accessories & Wholesale here. I obsessively collect records and go to see live music as my earnings allow. When I was 18 a friend taught me a few STP and Nirvana riffs which was enough to get me hooked.

My first guitar and the favorite of my collection is a '96 Fender Jag-Stang in Sonic Blue. I've also got a couple Teles, an OBEY Strat, 3 acoustics, a resonator, mandolin, banjo, and a sweet old '60s era Wurlitzer electric piano.

The Spirit of Rock 'n' Roll has driven me to many good things, ultimately leading to working at the coolest guitar company in the world! We're thrilled to be here for the many fans of Fender, young and old, and I'm proud to count myself as one!

Yes, I like it, but I hope Fender does not mind you using their guitar along with the logo. I am a tough critic. I work with an advertising agency and we create very expensive logo designs along with other print media. Have fun with your logo, as it is a serious reflection of who your band is. Take into consideration your type style and make sure it represents you.
