I live way out west. Furthest west coast town in the lower 48 (Google map 97465). We just finally got high-speed over the phone lines a couple of months ago.
Sure makes computing way more fun. Having a Mac on dial-up is like having your Ferrari stuck in first! I see you guys have way faster speeds than I do - but it's all good = me happy!!


Partially right: I'm running a Mac on Camino 8) Firefox too buggy

I have been happy with my DSL but most of the houses around me have been changing over to the fiber optic (FIOS) Many are getting the whole package fiber opti ISP Plus Phone and TV it cost about 128.00 a month. They put it in free and includes router and and battery backup UPS in the basement, we have been thinking about it.

Right now just have a "up to" 10Mbs connection at home, rarely push past 6Mbs though.
They are just beginning to bring the conversion to fiber out of the main cities so sooner or later it might get faster. :).
