I like your thinking Strato, it's the only medicine that really works for me. Thanks again Hop, the mojo much needed and appreciated. It's great to be back here, I've missed the place.

Hey Snowy! Seriously glad to hear from you.

We had some idea of health problems before, now it's a little clearer. That's tough and also tiresome for you: I thoroughly admire the spirit with which you seem to get on with it.

Ever find yourself coming to my part of the country let me know. Be a great pleasure to stand you a round - of whatever's permitted!

Good to see you back:

Cheers - C

Devon or London - I travel endlessly between the two. And I'm in Manchester for New Year. Good places to eat and drink in all three! It's a serious invite...

Anytime - C

Much appreciated cvilleira 8)

Ceri,
Thanks again, your invite is taken seriously. Unfortunately, I have to stay close to home for the foreseeable future. Devon is beautiful in the summer anyways....

You guys are different class, I can't thank you enough for your comments here. I just got out of hospital again, I had another diabetic episode. I'm not a regular diabetic, although I'm insulin dependant. It's a long and complicated story, which i won't bore you with. Suffice to say, my sugars are damn near impossible to keep under control. The only time they're stable is when I'm on an insulin drip, thus I've spent a bit of time in hospital over the past few weeks. It's a bummer for sure, but it makes me appreciate other things in life. My two Teles are hooked up and ready to rock n roll, I'll forget my troubles in no time 8)

Thanks again guys, you've put a smile on my face tonight :D

Snowy,

I worked for an Endocrinologist for a few months. That was the first time I heard of an insulin pump. I know that medical stuff is a little different across the pond, but have you considered an insulin pump? It delivers insulin at regular intervals to keep one more stable with their blood sugars. Might be a good option for you if you keep landing in the hospital for insulin drips. Hope you get well soon. Looking forward to reading more of your posts.

Thanks Nikninja, it's great to be hanging out here again.

rkreisher, thanks for the information dude. I have a few appointments set up for Monday morning, at the diabetic unit in the hospital. I'm pretty sure this will be one of the many topics discussed, I just hope we find a solution.

Thanks again guys, peace 8)

Hey ho Mr Bill :D ,

I actually did this at Traquair Fayre last summer, it's a lot of fun. I'll hopefully be at the Big Hugmanay party (that's how it's pronounced here) in Glasgow city centre on the 31st. I hope you have a great festive season, with your loved ones. All the very best :D
