I think that's a lot of emotions for one song.

Maybe a song would be worth a thousand bucks?

Some old vinyls in your colloection may have been played a thousand times.

Some pieces of music require a thousand playings to get sort of after a fashion right on guitar.

Some songs have been covered by a thousand bands (or in the case of SRV, 471,354,692).

Come on, think back to the song that was on the radio the first time you were making out, the first time you drove away from the house with your new license, or that other "first time."

Songs like that can reflect a "ton" of emotions, you hear them and all those memories come back.......oh yeah, at least a thousand emotions.

A picture or a song may bring about a emotional thought or feeling of being to someone but a thousand of them. I don't think so. They may have different meanings to people but getting over philosopical about it. NA!

Unless it's a crappy song, then it's a waste.

That would suck if an important memory was tied to a crappy song.

Just glad I never owned an Air Supply tape back in the day so that wouldn't happen.

Maybe it's always been like this, but it seems like everyone's a philosopher these days.

I don't have a thousand emotions for one song. A good song will do something to me, but I don't necessarily have any sort of emotional connection with it. The same thing happens to me when I watch a movie that is really good - I get a chill and a quick little shiver.

Sugarland's "Stay" does it to me.

I think back listening to Aerosmith "Dream On" - over and over and over, while playing foosball with my buddies in the garage on a hot summer day. Great memories from the 70's. Great times and music, and moments that I'll never forget

Ah......those were the carefree days.

I actually meant that having to listen to a crappy song being performed in a club is a waste. A waste of my time getting stuck listening to it and a waste of the writers time because he or she failed their mission to write a good song.

I will agree that certain songs will bring back memories. Some them very strongly. I got a soft spot in my heart for China Grove (in the summer of 76 if I remember corrctly).

I guess some songs are personally tied to certain special events for people, but i don't think a song could bring a thousand emotions to a single person.
and indeed it depends on the song

If the song doesn't have any "substance", it's not a song.....

not being sarcastic but could you first of all name 1,000 emotions? and then find a song that proves your statement?

i think its hard to be honest but i like the way you think
