I always use my Strat with the praiseband. Although I do have to mess with some of the tonal options because my Strat sounds so much different from the other 2 guitarists.

In our praise band, I use my Musicmaster bass and Montara A/E.

Both sound great with the PA.

I use my Highway One Strat for praise and worship. Sounds great! Does great stinging leads for some of the Lincoln Brewster we cover, but sounds buttery smooth for some other covers like Chris Tomlin etc.

I play either my Gibson SG or Fender American Deluxe Strat > Dunlop Crybaby > Ibanez Tubescreamer > Marshall Guv'nor > Danelectro tuner pedal > Fender Blues Deluxe in my praise band. We play every Sunday at 10am and 11:30am services. Plus we practice on Tuesdays. I love it and have been with them for over 2 years now.

There is a guy at our Church who most times play a Tele but I have seen him with a Strat. A few weeks ago he was playing one of those New Vox Virage and I was blown away by the sound from that thing.

My brother's band plays in their church occasionally. He plays the Fender Precision Bass, his guitar player an old strat (80?). They play 80's IRON MAIDEN METAL style original Christian songs.
The younger folks love it, but the BLUE HAIRED members look like that guy in the old Memorex commercial. At the end of their set, the blue hair has been blown back and, in some cases, have changed color.
It's quite funny.

In our Praise Band, I play '62 Reissue Jazz basses through a Fender Bassman, and our guitarist plays a Tele through a Fender Twin Reverb. Awsome sounding combination.

I will be playing my Custom Shop Custom Classic Strat. I played my Les Paul R7 last week when the other guitarist played a Tele and we played some heavier stuff, however I prefer my Strat for most situations.

My son will be on his Jazz bass. He doesn't know it yet, but I got him a Baja Tele for Christmas! :D He's just a beginner on guitar.

The week after Christmas, I'm gonna play that Tele!

My acoustic 12 string or my bass.
My Archtop may make an appearance soon as well.
I did use my Mustang before I got my 12 string.

I use my Strat for praise and worship. I've used the tele, though a couple times.
