I've never played the Tele HH before so dunno. I had a PRS SE Custom w/trem for a couple of years and that was a great guitar for that price point. I would make sure that the fat wide neck carve will work for you though.

Wasn't there a Fender HH Aerodyne Strat that looked a lot like that guitar?

In my experience, an Un-modified Fender with humbuckers does't sound like a Gibson. Same goes for any other Guitar company with single coils, they sound nothing like a Fender. With an HH Fender it's easier to get an "Anthrax" or "Iron Maiden" type distortion, with lots of mids and highs. Jacksons and Gibsons gets more of a chunky Low End "Ozzy" or "Megadeth" sound.

Personaly, I don't really like PRS. Their designs went Past Perfect. Schecters have very powerful pickups without a lot of character, so they're really good for extrememly processed signals, like digital multi effect stations.

The Aerodyne Strat is actually exactly what I was looking for, but I'd never seen one with two humbuckers. I'll have to check the HOG - if anyone has one, it'll be them.

I'm really leaning towards the SE Custom Semi-hollow at this point. I played the solid version for a few minutes, and the P-90 version, and liked them both... the necks were similar to my Strat, other than the finish.

I'll also have to find the Tele HH at HOG - partially to see how it feels, but also because I don't like the finishes MF has in stock - and I'm not going to buy a guitar if I don't like the way it looks.
