I'm looking for some suggestions for non-traditional holiday/christmas tunes like The Kinks' 'Father Christmas'.

Suggestions...?

If you are looking for something different check out Guitar One's Guitar DVD Play Holiday Songs. In it is an electric guitar medley. The tab is a medley that Jimi Hendrix did. It is very cool.

It's hard to beat John Lennon's "Happy Christmas (War is Over)."

Jethro Tull also has a surprising number of Christmas songs. Check out the Jethro Tull Christmas Album for some examples.

I'm looking for tunes to burn on a compilation CD. I've been doing these for a few years and have most of what's been posted, but this sounds interesting...thanks for the heads-up, Chet!

I have that track, and found it to be the dullest song I've heard recently. Maybe the lyrics are good, but if the music leaves you sleeping, there's not much point.
