Good Morning Loungers! I am excited because I know what one of my Christmas gifts will be and I get to order it today! I'm ordering new pickups for my MIM Strat; going with the GFS Neovins. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Here is my dilemma; On my natural 70 RI Strat -which do you think would look better? Stay with white pickups or go with the aged cream? If I do the cream, I would change the knobs to match but keep the white pearl pick guard. Here is my Strat in her current configuration.

I'd stay with white if you're going to keep the pg. BTW I like and have the same pg. Good luck picking and enjoy! 8)

I would go with the aged look. I'm not a fan of tighty whities, blindingly white shoes, or bright pickguards that belong in a Crest Toothpaste ad.

But that's just me...

If you keep the MOTS guard, personal choice would be white.

Thanks for the input gang; I went with the majority and ordered the white ones. One thing I noticed is that the white guard in the picture seems alot "whiter" than it is in person. Also I'd rather they age on their own. Can't wait to get them installed. :D

Since you're keeping the tasty pearl pickguard, my vote is for the white covers.

Here's my original 1974 natural with the "Tuxedo" package.

Love the tuxedo look. Mine's just like that, but all black (knobs and covers). I love the wood/black look.

In the words of Cal Naughton Jr "I like to picture my Jesus in a tuxedo tshirt. It's says I want to be formal, but I'm here to party!"

mthorn your guitar looks great- after I first got mine I went around and around over which pickguard to get- it was between white pearl, black pearl and tortoise shell. I think all three look great with the natural finish- hey, there's a good excuse for getting two more guitars!!
