I did this topic because i wanna hear the opinion of fellow Fender users .

For me fender represents the harmonic mix between beauty and technology , fender is my second heart , my voice , my aspirations , my Love .

Playing bass is the way of life i wanna go on , the real path of enlightenment . What is more beautiful than creating a piece of art as we all know Music is the sound of Emotion

Don' t think of me as crazy , because deep inside everyone has a little bit of fender in their hearts

A simple design perfectly executed.
With a Strat and a Tele there ain't nothing you can't do.

Fender represents a huge, capitalist corporate entity that has deviated from the original visions of it's founding members, and has struck a mighty blow to the working class families of it's motherland by outsourcing much of it's work to Mexico, Korea and other countries, while constantly raising prices and at the same time, offering low-end guitars and shamed it's quality for the sake of the almighty dollar.

^^ That would be my sister's answer.

Mine? They make cool guitars that I love to play on more than pretty much any other guitar made :P

Intriguing query. Several differing and parallel thoughts.

An American success story begun with a small-scale rising dream, skyrocket rise to legendary status, confusing hard times, stumbling but never-failing recovery, a world-renowned icon.

A friendly range of products which go far beyond being products; objects which are often 'friends,' somehow bridging betweenwhat have been traditional conflicts; art, music, technology, craft, lore, vibe.

Something for nearly every guitar-oriented musician to hold dear, use as a tool, have as pals, act as mediums to accomplishment and discovery.

A standard, something one can both aspire to posess and identify with, in a number of ways.

'Would love to hear from a serious, degreed psych or sociologist type on this topic!

Excellent products are a 'given.'
