I recently purchased a CP Jaguar HH and while I love the guitar, it does have a chip in the finish next to the neck joint. I know that there isn't really a way to fix it but I was wondering if this is a fairly common problem?

Polly finishes are prone to chipping. The location itself in not an issue.

Chipping is not really an issue. Treat it as a battle scar and move on. You'll get more.

I had chili and chips for dinner tonight. No problems. LOL.

Paints chips just add character to your guitar. Just leave it and play on.

Just one true step to a relic guitar as well. I know "To Relic or not to Relic" is always a big discussion on many guitar forums...While I like how artistic some relics are done, some just look like woodshop/power tool accidents. And overall, for me personally, if someone wore a pair of jeans so much or was so wasted they ripped a hole or holes into their jeans, thats cool...but if someone buys a brand new pair of jeans, and then cuts holes in them to make it look like they wore a pair of jeans so much or was so wasted they ripped a hole or holes into their jeans, then thats just cheesy and poseurish at times in my book...though like I said, I do like looking at some relics, I don't know if I'd buy one, and like the jeans analogy, I got no problem if some young lady decides to buy jeans and rip them or wear pre-ripped jeans, I would just never buy a pair for myself...if I had a girlfriend, I'd probably buy a pair for her to rip up or something though if thats what she wanted to wear
