Hiya, welcome to the forums.

Is slash the best guitarist. Well he's certainly very good, the best? i dont know. Is he your favourite? if so then he's your best, and no-one can argue with that. The fellah round the corner may hate him, thats his right too.
taste is a personal thing, thats why theres no accounting for it, from any quater.
Personaly i think the best guitarist in the world is some spotty 16 yearold kid that no-ones ever heard.

Everybody has their own preference as to who they think is the best guitarist around. It's always a matter of debate. To you it's Slash, to me, It's Angus Young, to somebody else it could be Jimi Hendrix. This is a neverending topic.

Best is only one's opinion.....

.......but we all really know it's Jeff Beck! 8) or Esteban... :?

Slash? Some think so. Great, sure, but if anybody could agree on a "Best", you would certainly know.

Um... and sorry dude, I'm not judging you personally... but I have to say I don't really like your name.

Certainly is a study in extremes, isn't it. Not unlike pairing Segovia with Slash. :?

There is a big difference between Andres Segovia and Esteban! Just because Esteban was taught by Segovia, doesn't put him in the same league! Don't get me wrong, Esteban is good. But Segovia was truly a master!

The issue here, according to mac67, I am given to understand, is "the name"....pairing 'moses' and '666'. The former, of course, preceding the other by several thousand years. Two diametric opposites in terms of imagery and spiritual connotation. Hence, my analogy.

P.S. Fascinating the direction these threads will lead us 8)

True and point taken. I have a habit of going off on a tangent every now and then! :) It's a gift.

Suggest you 'Google' "666" and go into Wikipedia for more in-depth. I doubt that 'moses' will require same.

about 5000 years difference between the time of moses and AD200 when it was said John wrote revelation.

Rev 13:18 ' its a mans number'

OT ref

1kings 10:14 'The weight of the gold that Solomon received yearly was 666 talents'

They reckon that 666 talents of gold was somewhere near 25 tonne.
