Hi guys. I'm posting this cos' I want an analog delay up to 600ms of delay time and I still haven't made my mind about which one take. Unfortunately here where I live (Italy) there aren't as many brands and kind of pedals as over there(USA) so I'm often forced to buy without give a try. My only way to get my bearings is check out on youtube (especially Andy at PGS, holy man) an on web some video or sound clips. My budget, unfortunately, is not too high , max 165-170$. I've seen something about the mxr carbon copy and the CMATMODS Deeelay and just hearing they seemed to me pretty good.Anyway maybe there are a lot of other boxes that I don't know so any tips will be glad. Is there anyone could help me? I will be grateful to everyone will. Thx in advance. Sorry for my bad english, I've tried my best.

The Carbon Copy is fantastic IMO. I've only owned for about a week, so I can't speak for reliability, but sonically it suits my needs perfectly. Great for both a short, slap delay and longer, Gilmour/Johnson type delay. It is small and compact and feels like it would survive a ten-story drop, at least

Thx for you advice. I'd really like to hear it "live". It seems really cool and I think 600 ms are enough for long delay. Can I ask you what's your setup with you tried it?Thx

+1. That is a great delay pedal, especially for the money.

I assume by setup you mean which guitar, amp, effects? I might have misunderstood you...

I ran it through a MiM Classic Player 50's strat and a Marshall DSL401 with an Ibanez TS-9, a Lovepedal Fuzz, Crybaby Wah and a Boss Compressor Sustainer. It complements the TS-9 perfectly.

È veramente un pedale fantastico, sono molto sodisfatto

Boss has several Delay pedals. I am impressed with the DD-7. Chack it out at http://www.bossus.com/gear/productdetai ... ductId=958

Watch the full video. Love the 70's backwards sound.

I just bought the Boss DD-7. I really like it. Has up to 6 seconds of delay as well as 40 seconds of recording available. Also a nice analog and modulate feature which gives you some extra mode to mess around with.

Boss DD-3 for about $100.

-3 delay time modes.
-Delay time control provides quick adjustment of exact delay time between 12.5 ms - 800 ms.
-Hold function repeats delay sound indefinitely.
