we've got 9 people at the house now counting the brand new twins (that's living here, not visiting) and 3 generations. my father-in-law (that fine man who gave me a telecaster) came with his guest, so that made 4 generations at the table.
much to be thankful for, lots of laughs, all-around nice time.

think i'm gonna kick back and play with my new pedals.

happy thanksgiving all.

We just got back from being over at my friend's house. It was fantastic! I brought my grilled turkey, another friend brought a smoked turkey(plum wood!, It was awesome) and the hosts provided everything else. Oh yea, my wife made the stuffing and I made my cranberry relish. After dinner we watched a little football, then broke out the guitars and started playing. We played for about 2 hours and then had pie and watched a little more football.

One of the best Thanksgivings ever!

I am thankful for my God and Savior, Jesus Christ, my wonderful family, and fantastic friends, for the men and women of the armed services for doing what you do every day! I am thankful for Clarence Leonidas Fender and George Fullerton for their tenacity and insight, for FMIC for their dedication to their wonderful products, their employees and their customers.

And for all my friends here at the Lounge: Happy Thanksgiving! You guys and gals are the best! I hope and pray for your health and prosperity!

For my mates across the pond: Although you don't celebrate Thanksgiving, if it weren't for you guys, we wouldn't have it! :) Just like our Independence Day! :) Cheers!

Tomorrow we celebrate Thanksgiving in the USA. Although it has been a difficult year, with the economy, etc., take time to appreciate the blessings in your life. Look around - they are right in front of you!!!

Have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday.

Ditto on that Mike....and to those of you who have seen fit to have shared your individual circumstances, both past and present with us, we hold you in our thoughts on this day and wish you all the best. To those in service or with family in service, both past and present, our deepest thanks, appreciation, and gratitude for helping to preserve this day for all of us.

Well, well, well.....coffee is brewing on a very chilly morning, I am putting the turkey on at 8:00am and then I will be brandishing the baster (is that a baster in your pocket or are you just happy to see me 8) ).

There was a little note left for me this morning that the bathroom sink is clogged, so I will be doing a little work there, I have a bathroom and music area to clean. Then we have 25 people showing up around 1:00pm.

Whew, I have my work cut out for me....I can guarantee you this though, I will be firing up the Telecaster at some point!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving day to all! Much to be thankfull for, the wife is still recovering from knee replacement but coming along well. I have a few things to do then I'm off for a little walk. I'm definitely going to get some time in with my LP before I have to go to a dinner gathering with family. The dinner is always good and I get to see my nephew. The nephew makes a living playing music so we always wind up talking music and guitars. I get a kick out of his road stories, but it makes me thankful I'm to old to be on the road
