You are going to notice that the further you go back in recording history the more variable the tuning was. Before the era of electronic tuners people sometimes tuned up to a piano in the studio which itself may or may not have been set to 440, or to a tuning fork [cries of "what's that?"] - or just to each other. Can't name one for you off the top of my head, but there's albums from the '60s where every track is tuned to a slightly different pitch.

And there's times when you just had to be grateful if everyone on a track was in tune with each other...
