"The sustain, listen to it"
"I don't hear anything"
"Well, you would though if it were playing!"

When "This Is Spinal Tap" first came out I thought, Rob Reiner (meathead?), fake british band? It's gotta suck!

I loved it. Loved the band too. I love that the joke has lasted decades too.

Love the movie, of course, and in addition to owning the DVD....

I have a set of 12" Spinal Tap action figures - Nigel with leopard-skin vest and Flying V, David all in white with a burst LP, and Derek shirtless with his S&M straps playing a BC Rich Mockingbird bass - and they are awesome. The faces and guitars are perfect, and everybody who sees them 'round here cracks up.

My kids got them for me for my b-day, like, six years ago. Closeout at Suncoast Video.

yeh is an awesome movie (forgot to say i saw it). the only problem was, at live earth, was that alot of the corwd didnt get it, because they havnt seen the movie. so they were percieved as being naff. but the peopl who had seen it, knew what they were like n got the whole performance with the stonhenge etc..
