I always find it amazing just how cruel people can be. As humans we seem to be titillated by these images and we get all too many of 'em these days - news, newspapers, the internet.

Love your family.

Peace.

I'm sure the video you saw was made by animal rights activists. Having grown up on a fur farm, I don't recall ever clubbing an animal or skinning it before it was dead. That would be cruel and inhumane. Sadly, there are people from all walks of life that can ruin the perception of what ever they are doing, with evil acts. I guess what I'm saying is not every fur rancher, hunter, trapper, etc. is a sadistic s.o.b.

+1 Agreed... :( There is enough cruelty everywhere you look, it's hard to avoid seeing or hearing it

I have a friend like that -- if "it" is wrong, he seemingly has a need to do it even if it serves no purpose and wasn't even something he was thinking about. I think it's some combination of the thrill and having beat the fates if you get away with it this time. He explains that growing up in a small town, he'd do these things his parents had told him not to do all the time.

I said that I grew up in a small town too and didn't your dad always find out? Well, the told me, that was the cool thing -- 99 times out of 100 dad did and he'd have a good whipping coming when he got home. But there was always that one time ... and that was the payoff. You slipped one past dad/ authority/God/whoever so YAY -- you win!

A year or so ago, an incedent happened in which somebody skinned a bear by the side of the road (one of which I live by) and left it there to rot. Don't really know if they figured out who it was, (I doubt it) but still, it was disgusting.

Get over it y'all
They kill trees to make guitars (oh that's right, trees aren't cute so no one cares)

On a more serious note:
 Just because you don't like something, that doesn't make it morally or ethically wrong.
 You do NOT have the right not to be offended.
 You do NOT have the right not to have your feelings hurt.
 It is wrong to try and force your personal moral and ethical code on others. If it isn't against Gods law or the 'law of the land', you may have an opion but that's it.
 Wishing ill on someone because they don't agree with you is SCARY!

What always amuses me about this, is that the same people who rally for the rights of these animals, are the same who support "partial birth abortion". For those who don't know what partial birth abortion is.....is when a "fetus" is full term (means can be born at anytime), and the abortion is performed by drilling through a baby's skull, then the brain. Of course no pics are ever shown of that procedure, due to it being politically correct.

Now........it amazes me, how someone could feel for a chicken or some other animal, and fight for their rights.......yet the same person can condone such a brutal method of abortion. (for me.......it strips them of all credibility.)

Now I'm not against abortion for those that believe in that (I'm neutral), however I'm still able to see through hypocrisy.

...I'm pretty sure no one cares because they have no emotions whatsoever.

How do you know that? how do you whether a tree or goldfish has emotions, or any other animal. Just because you see no social interaction between something and any other member of our species, it doesnt mean that interaction doesnt exist however one sided it is.

If i'm cold i'll wear nearly anything. If i'm hungry i'll eat nearly anything.

I'm not talking about goldfish or any other animal/fish. I was referring to trees.

How do I know a tree can't feel? Emotions come from the brain. Without your brain, you can't feel love, anger, sadness, or hatred. You have no emotions. Trees are obviously living things that have no feelings.
Which is why no one cares.

Emotions are a human thing, animals don't have them (just because you see it in a Disney movie doesn't mean it's real). Animals have instinct. No your pets don't love you. They hang out because you feed them.

I hunt,I fish, and I eat meat. People have the right to wear real fur if they want. I'm against PETA and most things these wackos stand for. However I think it's bad how some animals are killed for fur  -clubbing,skinning them alive, etc. This I DON'T agree with. The more humane way would be to shot them with a rifle but from a fur seller's point the pelt would be ruined. Still I make no apologies for my views. A PC person I ain't.

All I want to say is if I was anti -fur I could easily make a video showing how badly animals are mistreated, now before anybody goes off on one I also realise that its a fact that they can be.
On the other hand if I wamted to promote fur I caould easily again prepare a video showing how well farmed animals are kept and look after and humanely put down before using their pelt to make something useful.

Well even if they were well farmed & kept & looked after is cruel and just a waste to kill animals for their fur because nowadays you can either wear synthetic fur or just polyester to keep warm in the winter. Also these animals arent going to be eaten like lamps etc. they are killed just for the vanity of the rich. thats the real shame. :(
