I'm guessing that if I wasn't sick and going through chemo that I never would have had the time and reached the five-pick club so soon, but I'm NOT a rockstar. :?
I wish it had a level that said something like Senior Professional Musician instead of rockstar.

Anyway, how many others do we have? I know of Chet and Cryingstrat, are there others? :?:

I *think* that there's someone from PA that's getting close too?

Congrats Mike. I can understand not really wanting to be called a Rock Star - but Brad or someone else at Fender choose the names for the titles - maybe Brad will post something here about the subject.

I'm not completely happy with Professional Musician title since I'm about as far away from that in real life as one can be  But one has to deal with the hand that you're dealt. :P

Once again, congrats on your new Pick.

And your dealing with your health issues is more important than what some forum has named you - and you seem to have been dealing with your health in a good way and you have lots of support from the random collection of Fender users around the world and the fine staff, like Brad, running the forum.

Take care,

Gil 8)

There's already a thread asking that question - he's been off the air for awhile - http://www.fender.com/community/forums/viewtopic.php?t=13984

I'm still way behind. I haven't posted at all recently because my football season just ended on Friday and I started basketball yesterday, so I'm spending most of my free time sleeping and relaxing.

I have a long ways to go, before I get to that pick. But then......no big deal. I never count my posts anyway. I just come in here to have fun.

By the way....you've motivated me to go in for a colonoscopy, after I've been putting it off for years. I went in today and had it done. Everything came out fine (no pun intended). Thank you for the motivation, and putting an end to my stalling.

I'll never get to 2K let alone 3K. I really should be playing more anyway, yet here I am with fingertips on the keys instead of the strings.
