This happens to me all the time...

Have you played the guitar or any other instrument for a little bit, put it down to go do something, and then have this urge to play the same instrument and then go play it?

It's like you haven't even played, but you still want to play more. Because of this, i can get more than an hour of total play time each day (maybe up to two?).

Sometimes it's annoying, but i can't be annoyed when i am playing my strat :)

How about all of you out there?

Yeah, I think I know what you mean. It's like you think you want to do something else for a while, but when you try it's just like that guitar force...it just draws you back!!!

That's because you have a good guitar and are comfortable playing it. I noticed that when I bought my Fender, I would (and still) play on it for hours at a time and not even realize it. When I am at work it calls to me. I am even starting to dream about playing it. My wife is starting to get jealous.

I do an hour every morning. But I know what you mean, it's like a little voice is tellin' you that ya missed something and you have to go back but you don't really know what it was. Could be the guitar that has telepathic powers.
In the early days I did four hour sessions and I knew I needed a break.
