As a citizen of the US I say "Thank You to those that have served, those that are serving, and those that will serve"

From this Navy Vet, I thank you who have served as well. I also thank those that are continuing to serve and put their life on the line every day!

Regardless of what any politician says, regardless of what any protesters say or do, you (the men and women of our armed services) are truly heroes! Always know that. And remember the fallen heroes! For they have given us the greatest gift!

John 15:13 "No greater love does a man have than to give his life for his friends"

Our vets are the reason why we can debate what's the best guitar, who's the best player ... favorite music, etc. They're why we can read and write freely in this forum and anywhere else without worrying about some secret policeman kicking in the door to "discuss" our choice of music, clothes, guitars or what to say.

So the next time you realize that you have a choice - thank a vet - they've put their own lives on the line to stop those who'd take it away many times over!
