Ditto on that. He's on on of my lists back there. The kid from Queens has an interesting bio.
I've been trying to track down a copy of 'Xpensive Winos'. He's on that Keith Richards CD

And again, I will mention Jack Pearson - who happens to live near me.

Toured with the Allman Brothers. Session work for the Allman Brothers, Delbert McClinton, Jimmy Buffett, Chris LeDoux, Bobby "Blue" Bland, Derek Trucks, Gov't Mule, Bonnie Bramlett, Earl Scruggs. etc, etc...

4 CD's of his own. I recommend "Step Out" and if you like gut bucket blues don't miss his collaboration with Bill Howse ...

Well, if you are into some blues/rock. Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac stylee, then check out Snowy White and the White Flames, they do some great albums which on some feature Max Middleton, the guy who played on Jeff Beck's ' Blow by Blow ' album.
I play along to these nearly every morning, great for polishing up your blues riffs, they do some clever key changes within their songs, educational for developing creativity in your playing style.

'No Faith Required '
'Little Wing '
'Restless '
'The Way It Is '
'Keep Out We Are Toxic '
These are some of their albums I think worth checking out.

As I've mentioned elsewhere, two of my favorites (and influence on me as well as more well known guitarists): Jimmy Thackery and Jimmy Vaughn. Despite being an inspiration for many, they're much lesser known to a lot of people than some of those they inspired!

I always thought that Gary Moore and Robin Trower fit this category. They're better known than some of the others listed here, but I don't think they ever got the respect they deserved.

He might not be a great guitarist but he wrote some good stuff.
Chris Rea.
