I recently had the pleasure of meeting Albert and all I can say is "wow."

Albert is a Boston area guitarist who some have cited as "the next SRV". I don't know about that, but I do know that he's a great musician and sincere person.

His most recent CD, "Feels So Good" (live) was released not long ago in September and if you've never heard him perform, I recommend that you check him out! 8)

Albert has been around for several years now. Gave up building houses (the family business) to pursue blues guitar. I've heard a lot of his stuff, but I confess I don't own any of his CDs and I've never seen him in concert.

Nobody books gigs south of Orlando anymore.

We have a restaurant here in Woonsocket, R.I. where I live, called Chan's. They feature live music every weekend with Jazz and Blues and a lot of National acts play there. I'm pretty sure I've seen his name mentioned there once or twice.

He'll be at Chan's in early December when he gets back from Florida.

Maybe a possible Wednesday night blues jam is in the future?

I have to admit that I had never heard him before. Great stuff! Thanks for turning me on to him, Miami Mike!

I'm not much for playing in public anymore, but certainly I'll show up to listen to you guys. The Back Room is a little juke joint near the railroad tracks (where else!) on the Dixie Hwy in Boca.

BTW, I'll have less time to play. I am once again gainfully employed as of Monday, 11/10 !! Ah, the joys of cashflow. I can feel my G.A.S. coming back. :D
