Hi Dave - Welcome to the Forums.

This was discussed on the following thread:

http://www.fender.com/community/forums/viewtopic.php?t=9642&highlight=frontline

In short, they print catalogs for the dealers and in '08 they made them available to the general public to buy. Not sure about '09.

You mean you have to buy the large catalogs through the Frontline store now? When did Fender start doing that?

They did it for the 1st time this year. Though I recall some years ago they made a special hard cover edition available purchase. I don't know what their plans are for '09.

Maybe Brad knows. I assume the only ones for sale were surplus to Fender's needs. I don't believe they would have printed extra store catalogs to sell, but I might be wrong.
