The Budda Wah is fine...

Features:

* 100% signal bypass when not in use, keeps guitar tone true
* Hard-wire bypass, quite operation, boutique quality component

How Badly do you need pickups.

I love my Dunlop Crybaby 595 Q except the really loud click when I turn it on. But I love my old "Original Crybaby" (CGB-95), that I got back in 88 or 89, even more. I replaced the old scratchy pot with a 100K Hot Potz pot so it's quiet as can be.

Hi Hendrixfan99, this morning I went to my Fender dealer and tried a few models of Dunlop wahs. Finally I didn't care for all the extras switches, knobs and higher prices. I bought the base or original GCB-95 CryBaby and I am very happy with it. $130.00 cdn. Good luck.

A dunlop crybaby classic is a worthwhile investment for that little bit extra, I've had mine for two years and it's still rocking true! John Mayer uses one, I have heard.. Don't know if that's true though.

Get a cheap crybaby off ebay, do some mods to it, add a whipple inductor and call it done. It's all you'll ever need.
