I have a theory that more people visit ther lounge than any other page soJust to help my good friends the 'gilmour owners'. Can everyone please post the serial no' and finish detail of any gilmour strat they come into contact with.

If we get a few more it should help Orvilleowner in his expert analysis of their production order.

Thanks Im off to ebay now to see if i can swipe a couple there.

Snowy, COA is the Certificate of Authenticity. I didn't even notice the '09 ... I know they are all '08 for the next couple of months!

My COA date is 10/02/08 but the number does not match the guitar neck plate .

Question?? Was your book signed??

Doc, when I first recieved it the book was not signed but my dealer made some calls and exchanged emails to prove the date when I placed my order and I was sent a signed copy! Not at first but it worked out!

Just adding my CoA date for R43480 which is 09/16/08

As a seperate issue I've just been looking at buying an Eric Clapton custom shop strat and I'm lead to believe he signs the CoA.
Would have been a nice touch for DG to have signed these.
