If it's not cool to invite people to join a Facebook group on the Fender Forum, just say - and I will delete the thread!

Otherwise here's my group - PedalMania!

It's as nerdy as can be, but it has a nice picture and no animals were harmed during the making of it.

So if you want to $@!&* about your Boss or talk about your Tubescreamer, come and say hello!

I guess I should take a longer look at facebook anyway.

I didn't realize I would have to put my meager HTML skills to use constructing my MySpace page. I've forgotten more HTML than I remember.

I'm a member of "Electric guitar, Fender stratocaster" on facebook, the biggest one.

Not sure why I join facebook groups, I never do anything or write for them. Just more time to waste online I suppose :)

They're two completely different things for different reasons.

Myspace is a personal website, that makes it easy and simple to make a one-pager with some general notes and embed some music. Pics are optional too, and it's very "social" with the whole friend things, blog etc.

Facebook is more of a social communication service that makes it easier to keep tabs on all your "friends", meet new ones, networking, etc . And it looks much cleaner and nicer. Most myspace pages are frickin hideous with all the crap people load on there trying to make them look cool.

Totally different. You use myspace to make a web presence for your band or yourself, and facebook to keep in close, daily contact with a lot of friends, upload and organize pics, and check out your friends' as well.

Facebook doesn't have music pages? Forgive me, I'm a veteran of the internet but kind of a noob at the social sites.
