None of my friends are guitar users like i am. i often find myself talking about guitars, and they just get confused after the first few words(and i don't even think i know that much about guitars.) Sometimes they get anoid at me, but they're still my friends.

Some day your friends will get married,

They will think they have a happy marriage,

Then in years to come, you will see them very sad,

Because their wife has run off with a musician, like you !

not here!... a lot of my friends are in bands, used to be in bands or work in the industry. Even guys I work with, young and old, keep surprising me with their guitar knowledge and appreciation. It's great!

Hey, at least your mom is trying to be involved in what you do. Don't get annoyed, teach her what your guitar is all about.

Not to worry... you are part of the Fender Forum now, where you can talk guitars all you want. And perhaps learn a thing or two yourself. Lots of good people here and many cool topics, so join in.

Doesn't your brother listen to other bands? How does he think each band gets it distinct sound? They all play different guitars. Perhaps you can teach him that... have him listen to Pink Floyd, and then to Metallica. That'll teach him different guitar sounds.

I have been in my band since I was 12 and my friends have always thought its cool that I get payed to go play my guitar for 4 hours. Great extra money on the side.

Well at least he is supportive and comes to listen to you and your band. That's cool.
