When my father was a kid, the snow drifts around here reached the height of the roofs. I know it's true, I've seen old photographs.

Its humid here, but there ain't never any rain (can you imagine how bad it is to scrape crap-loads of ice off your car?). Its also very very cold this year, just these past 2 or 3 days I think its been getting down about lower than 32 degrees overnight with it about being 50-75 degrees midday. Today was a little warmer than usual, so I'm gonna guess its just a cold front. :?

But it'd be a bit nice once in a while for a little snow. Even though I hate the cold...but like the other guy said, more the reason to stay in and play more guitar. :D

I'm in Canada. We should have a bunch by now, but no sign of it at all! In fact, it was 10 degrees out today!

Dude I'm right across Lake Erie from you EddieVanHelen! I'm 20 to 25 minutes West of Erie in what is called the "SNOWBELT". We've only had about 8 to 9 inches all together so far, but for a year's total the average is between 17 to 22 feet. That's just an average though and is usually higher over the past few years. If you want a battle, then I'll be ready. I'll just use my skid-steer to build an impenetrable fort :P , then the barrage of snowballs will soon follow...

Oh yeah and...This is me feeding one of the wild deer around my property. I call her SHRED...

So if you even try to come hunting in my woods, then you'll meet the wrath of my collection of HK's  ...Then I'll totally SHRED ya with a Fender Strat  .

No snow here in SoCal but they're getting some in upstate New York where I grew up.

Natives here sometimes ask me if I skiied and skated a lot back in NY. Sure, I tell them -- all winter long I'd ski to work in my car, slip getting out and skate on my butt all the way to the office door. But then, we had 4 seasons in Utica, unlike in LA: Snow, Lots O Snow, I'm Sick of Snow and Construction :D

Totally cool pictures, man! Now if only you'd been wearing a Forum Tee that would have been a competition winner for sure!

Cheers - C

Nice Deer pics Shreddin I hope to be seeing a few of them this year. We have areas around me right now that have so many Deer that the land can't support them. Last Weekend we were checking sites and saw a heard of over 30 deer. I have put in for some of the lotterys they are doing to have people do hunting in some manage areas in January I hope to get into the 2000 acre Soldiers Delight. I did not get picked in the Bear lottery this year. Heck in some areas in Howard Co. they are letting Hunters take up to 3 deer this season.

It doesn't snow much in the Houston area. Miss it some times, although most of the drivers around here couldn't negotiate it very well.

Too cloudy to go to the beach today, though, tomorrow we're supposed to have a mix of sun & clouds and 80°F.

I'm going to take out my Remmington 22-LR (Long Rifle) and get a couple of Wild Turkeys tommorow. Might even go for some Partridge... 8)

Cool! You guys need to come over to my property because I've got so many Turkeys tearing stuff up that they ALL need shot! Especially when the damn Canadian Geese and the Turkeys beat me to the American Chesnuts! That alone is enough to serve a death sentence...
