Ian's famous forebear Richard Brinsley Sheridan was an eighteenth century satirical playwright, known for poking his finger playfully in the eye of society. His most well known play is The School for Scandal.

He was a noted wag. For instance, he part owned a theater, which unfortunately burned down. Seen drinking wine whilst watching the blaze he remarked; "A man may surely be allowed to take a glass of wine by his own fireside."

Genes will out: it all begins to explain a little something about our own Forum member, Ian Sheridan, doesn't it?

Cheers, Ian - C :D

That term reminds me of my old english teacher. Ohhh happy memories of halcyon days in detention, staring out of a window, wondering when the one hour of bellyaching will end.

Now, now: nothing wrong with detention. Doing that essay again and again, week after week, got me through my history exam...

Not good with authority... - C

I think the name "Sheridan F" is more appealing than the actual altered "F". Now I want to see a Sheridan F headstock before I will make a final determination whether I like it or not! :D

Seen it in Korea on a knock-off Fender-like guitar. It looks strange.

Or, before the police come calling, was it just a passion flower all along?

(We know how the boys in blue monitor the Fender Forum for malefactors...)

Cheers - C

I think musicians are suspects by default aren't we?

I can't even remember what it feels like to be stoned anymore!
I get my kicks out of watching TV and wearing comfy slippers.
