Upgrade-a-holic?
Mod-a-holic?

I confess it. I have to change out the pickups on my guitars. No matter what, I'm not really happy until I've changed them. Anyone else in the same boat? Could this be considered a type of G.A.S.?

Speaking of G.A.S. I'm jonesing for a new amp at the moment.
Must.....wait...til......after..Christmas.
The wife and.....kids....have to....come...first.......

I mainly just have GAS for different PU configs on Teles and pedals...not really a mod-aholic, but more of a TELE-PHILE and PEDAL-PHILE

When I was younger, I used to like working on cars. It seems that the process led me to now working on guitars mostly these days. Some of my guitars are completely stock though and I like 'em that way....for now.

I'm in the same boat as you Mike. Used to be cars, now guitars. It's in my nature, I have to take things apart and figure out how they work. It drives the wife nuts!

I would'nt touch the pups in my American Standard. Some of the best pickups I've played. 8) Mike
