Okay, more pics of similar Showster guitars. I was expecting to see something else.

Do you agree with my assessment above?

O ya I saw your post on the All Other Fender Guitars spot. I believe you hit the nail on the head there.

Of course, it was nedeye who pulled the screen back exposing the "real wizard of Oz."

I couldn't make out the last name of "Rick E" -- I thought it was Excalibur or something. nedeye must have been able to read it and gave it a quick Google ...

I found it a little odd that he didn't know one of "his guitars" was a Squier '51.

It's not hard to find on the internet the pictures he has posted as his. For example, his "Axe Room":

Image

actually belongs to a user BrianF at the TDPRI (Tele Discussion Page), just Google Image the term "B Bender" and you'll find it.

Google Image "1963 fretless" and you'll find the pictures of Craig Newman's basses that Eddie posted as his. Google Image "JVM 410H" and you'll find the picture of the Ibanez & Marshall half-stack ...

and the 1957 prototype jazzmaster is not a fender or a jazzmaster or from 1957!!!

Quote:
1985 American Showster, the prototype, hand built by Rick Excellente, signed on the rear of the headstock, looks like a '57 Chevy rear fender, Foam Green finish, tail light works when you hit the Tremolo, with OHSC, Call

Yeah, I also found those last two. I was going to post them today when the Forum opened up. What sent the red flag up was when I posted the picture of Marty Stuart playing Clarence White's Original Frankenstein B-Bender Tele and when i asked him about it, Eddie had no idea he had a Custom Shop Clarence White B-Bender Tele in his collection! After a search on that guitar I found the picture and the real owner! As for the "Prototype" that can be found at Kummers Vintage Guitars. (click on electric guitars, and scroll down to "1985 American Showster"
)

Yes, that was rather odd! :?

But I really liked how he claimed to have some 40 guitars and then all of a sudden the claim changed to 64!

The pictures were just too different (in quality and style) to think a guy just took them.

I don't know why someone would feel the need to try to impress people with fake ownership of his equipment?? :? Unbelievable! It does not take long ( with the combined wisdom on this forum) to reveal them! That is a sad thing. I guess we will have to come up with a way to expose the posers. He owns over 40 guitars, yeah right!!?? Maybe have them put a picture with today's newspaper in the pic. Something!? :x

Oh well......????

It's only when the snow job becomes a blizzard that the warning flags go up. The posers eventually expose themselves.

I wonder what forum Eddie's going to move to now?

Actually, I don't think his actions violate any of the Forum's Code of Conduct!

I just don't see no need for any to be poser we are not all able to have what alain has and that does not matter. Who cares if you have one or ten it does not matter to anyone on this Forum because all get the same respact. I thought it odd when he started the post How Many Guitars You Have And he stated he owned 64 then did not no what many were. Then the strange pics after the it's not real if there not pic's was talked about.

Well I guess they will come and go. I would be proud to own a $150.00 guitar, price / quantity does not matter! :? This is a welcoming forum to all so there is no need for that kind of stuff!

But have fun with this sorry tale!
