You have to post a pic of that 1957 prototype Jazzmaster!

Here it is!
 :D 8)

Who is Rick and what happened to the original tuners? Should they not be Straight Line Klusons 1957

I changed them and Rick is the guy that designed the prototype... :D 8)

Get that new camera out and snap a pic of the body on this Jazzmaster :!:

I have none on file now, but it looks just like a regular Jazzmaster but with a prototype headstock and some other parts. Will try to upload pics if I remember... 8)

Two words (NEW CAMERA)

Okay!  :D 8)

Check this out! It will tell you quite a bit about Vintage Jazzmasters!

My collection is not as extensive as yours. I'll have to find my camera and post pics. But what you see under my posts are all I currently own.

I don't know how many BOSS pedals and boards I own. 15? 20? Some of them I never use! My main ones are the TU-2 Chromatic Tuner, BD-2 Blues Driver, ME-50 Multiple Effects Board, GE-7 Equalizer and the ML-2 Metal Core. BOSS makes some awesome pedals! :D 8)

The living room has the nicest wood floor in the house. It's funny, but almost every room has wood or laminate wood! Anyways, thats where I play my new Deluxe Strat and Tele, in the living room through a Fender RUMBLE 15 bass practice amp. I use my guitars through my bass amps (I like the clean sound).

This is one of the oddest threads I have read.

Exactly what about that 1985 "prototype" makes it a 1957?

Color me confused.

Hey Eddie, I really like that Tele with the stickers on it! What's the deal with that Tele? What kind of pick ups are on that? And what's that little knob below the bridge? How about some close-ups of that Tele!

Well...since Eddie won't show you guys the picture of that "prototype", I will!
Image
First off...this is a 1985 American Showster. Hand built by Rick Exellente, to look like a 57 Chevy rear fender finished in foam green. The tail light lights up when you hit the tremelo bar.

Buy the way Eddie, Is this your "Harley" too?

Well I don't have one of those, but I could borrow my dad's Ferrari 328 GTS (RED) and put that in the background...

Thank you, I was waiting for information on that so-called "1957 Jazzmaster Prototype" ...

Good detective work, nedeye. Where did you find those pics? Were they at Eddie's photobucket account? If not, I suspect that those aren't his things (and neither are most of the things in the other pics he's posted).

Okay, more pics of similar Showster guitars. I was expecting to see something else.

Do you agree with my assessment above?
