Maybe i should make this into a book or something... today i played these guitars... and i gave you links so you can see them :)
included are the guitars that i have played since i was going there every Saturday.

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Deluxe-Roadhouse-Stratocaster-Electric-Guitar?sku=515525- possibly my favorite one of all

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-?sku=512871- okay, sounds nice, but feels 'not right' in my hands

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Highway-One-Stratocaster?sku=512768- probably second best... sounds alright, feels really nice

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-72-Classic-Telecaster-Thinline-Electric-Guitar?sku=510474- i played both:) actually, probably my least favorite guitars because the fretboard was too glossy, and the strings felt bad, however, the humbuckers were pretty good

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Standard-Stratocaster-Electric-Guitar?sku=516037- very nice guitar, i see why people have been comparing these to Americans

http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/product/Squier-Deluxe-Strat-Electric-Guitar?sku=517231-the ultimate cheapie, everything is awesome except for the name on the headstock

Well, these are all that i can remember that i've played
so when anyone asks me about any of these, i will answer not from what i've heard, i will answer from what i've heard AND played.

'72 Thinline!!!

Its versatile as hell , it sounds sweet & looks sweet.
What more can i say? One of my fav guitars ever because i can get the single coil sound of a strat on the bridge pickup and the warmth of the humbucking les paul on the neck (obv with settings on my amp changed and stuff) And even with all these sounds , i still get the classic tele tone peaking through....
I recommend to anyone and everyone.

My vote was for the Highway One Tele.
I own one and it's a real sweet guitar.
I've played the Highway One Strats and I still like my 06 American Standard better.
Haven't tried the Deluxe Roadhouse but the specs look good, and you say it felt good and sounded good.

I voted for the Hwy 1 Tele. I like the vintage saddles and thin finish. Also American made.

I would suggest you go to a store and play the roadhouse strat. It sounds amazing, and feels awesome. I cannot find one bad thing about that guitar.

I picked the MIM - Brown Sunburst, Rosewood Fretboard would be my color choice.

I handled one about 3 months ago when I was just browsing one of the local (45 miles each way) music stores. I liked it alot.
