Hello Mthorn00,

I never really got into those little pignose.
They always left me wanting more.
I realize thats not what they are all about
but there is plenty of room for refinement.

Cheers.

Hey they are neat for what they are is all I'm saying. I do not nor have I ever recorded with a pignose amp. I have taken them camping, and to the beach, and played out on the street corner with my guitar case open to make some quick cash.

It's all about makin' bacon!

I owned one when they first came out in the 70's... I used to record with it when I read that Frank Zappa used it on a few of his albums. He also used to use it on stage as a pre-amp sometimes.

I used to open it up and shove a mic right inside it... and then crank it up.

Mine lasted about ten years before it died.

I don't know what they're like now...
