Welcome! Wow! What a great collection! I would feel like a kid in a candy store if I had a room like that!

I would too. My problem is that I work too much to enjoy it. I will literally go a week sometimes without even walking upstairs. I am usually in the garage on Sundays working display cases for people so even my off day usually isn't spent up there. It does make me appreciate it though when I do get a chance to go up there, it's like I'm visiting somebody. I intend on moving all my guitars into that room and painting it all cool, with some nice decorations. I want to have the ultimate "jam room" for that rare occurrence that I have someone over that plays.
I'm glad I found this site. I'm usually on "mylespaulforum.com" do any of you ever go there??

Loving the tweed displays for those guitars. Grrr, now I want more Fender barstools. That's still the most comfortable thing to sit on when playing 8)

Thanks guys, I was in a local store one day and they had a beautiful white/blond custom shop tele in Fender display case, when he told me the price, I went and bought a load of lumber and found as supplier of Fender tweed, amp corners and crushed velvet. I've been making them for myself and others ever since. I even bought a bunch of old Fender and Gibson amp logos to put in mine (which I still need to do).
I can't believe that as many times as I've been on the Fender site, that I never noticed a forum.

Welcome, Jomo. Splendid collection and splendid room. Good on you.

Re 'cool,' some folks here definitely are. In this writer's instance however, the adjective is not applicable.

If your reading this it must be! Names Jomo, this is my first post. I have been mostly into Les Pauls but I've always had a couple Fenders around as well. I don't know why but ever since I bout my Custom Shop Strat, I've been gassing for more and more Custom shop guitars. I even considered selling my R9 Lemon Drop Les Paul to fund a Gilmore Strat. Anyway, glad to be here. Here's a couple pix.

Good Lord, 64?? I think I've got around 20 at best all together. I have my guitars that I probably would not ever get rid of i.e. my 1964 J-45 or my 2006 '1960 relic' Custom shop Strat, for example, I'm trying to sell my James Burton right now (just had a bogus bidder on ebay) to get a Custom shop nocaster. I have a Custom shop Les Paul, and a Custom shop Strat, now I want a Custom shop Tele. I also want a LP, tele, and Strat from the year I was born (1971).
Actually, I just found this list I made up for someone that I was trying to do some trading with.

1. 1996 Gibson Les Paul Classic "One off factory green"
2. 2007 Gibson Les Paul R9 Lemondrop Custom Shop
3. 2008 Gibson Les Paul Standard "Slash"
4. 2008 Epiphone Les Paul Standard "Slash" *SOLD
5. 200? Epiphone Les Paul "Limited Edition" Custom Shop *
6. 2006 Fender Strat Custom Shop "1960" Relic
7. 2008 Fender Tele James Burton (On ebay) *
8. 2008 Fender Tele Joe Strummer SOLD
9. 1991 Fender Tele Sunburst "Mint" *
10.2007 Fender Tele Squire Shepherd Fairy "Obey" Tele (very cool) *
11.2007 Fender Tele Squire Shepherd Fairy "Obey" Strat (also very cool) *
12.1940 National Lap Steel
13.1964 Gibson J-45 Acoustic
14.2007 Gibson J-45 Acoustic "50s reissue"
15.1968 Gibson B-15 Acoustic *
16.1996 Takamine Acoustic electric Santa Fe "Geko"*
17.1969 Fender Malibu Acoustic *
18.1960s Harmony "Stella" Acoustic (very good shape) *
19.1970 Harmony full size Acoustic
20.1997 Martin CEO Limited Edition #14 (owned by Kyle from Matchbox20)
21.2008 Gibson Slash Gold Top Les Paul
22.1958 Gibson L48 Jazz guitar

If you don't mind me asking...Why do you dudes collect all of those guitars and NEVER play all of them? I play ALL of my axes for different purposes, but to have that many and just leave them in cases? I guess I just don't get it... :?

Yup, that's a Fender Electro Lounge™ serving/party tray; I've got one myself and they are quite nifty. That's also the graphic from which our forums logo was derived and it's been used on a few other products including this ashtray, still for sale. We removed the word 'Electro' from it for no other reason than that we thought that would have made our forum title too lengthy!

Excellent! I knew there must be a story in there somewhere. A little surprised there wasn't more of a clamour, "where can we buy a Lounge drinks tray?" breaking out on this thread...

Thanks, Brad!
