I used to use Slinkys--then one time the store was out of GHS Boomers--(which I normally use on my electrics (9-42)--although I sometimes use Bullets on my Mustang (9-42) I'm considering using 10-46 on my Les Paul.)

Anyway--back to Ernie Ball--I didn't like them--they felt different--they didn't stay on too long--I'm so used to Boomers.

On my archtop I haven't decided yet--it came with D'Addarios. I may use those or try GHS strings as well--just a heavier gauge.

On my classical--Augustine Reds.
On my 12 string--Adamas Phisphor Bronze--when I can find them--otherwise D'Addario Phosphor Bronze.

Depending on which guitar, I use Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky, Ernie Ball Skinny Top-Heavy Bottom and Ernie Ball Not Even Slinky.

Ditto! I see that they're releasing David Gilmore signature Boomers that will be 10 - 48.

I mainly use EB Super Slinky's and I have a couple sets of the GHS Gilmour strings. I like those a lot, very clean and lasted a while.

I've also got a set of Dunlop 10's I'm probalby going to put on this weekend to try out.

ernie ball super slinky's on my strat, and usually d'addario's on my acoustic, but have some rotosounds on there at the moment, which seem to sound better now they have mellowed/darkened... :?

I use Fenders on the Fenders and Gibsons on the LP. My Jazzmaster has 10's, but the other Fenders have 9's. Like most players of my age, I've had to go down in gauge to protect my hands.

I know a pro who plays in a style much like SRV and he still plays with heavier gauge strings despite bouts with arthritis.

I got sold at Guitar Center on the Elixir 10-42's. They do last a long time and sound pretty good. I just put some EB slinky's (9-42) on a cheap Epiphone I have and I really like the way they bend.

I custom make my sets using strings from Dean Markley Blue Steel and Dean Markley Flatwounds sets.

All the electrics now use Fender 7350M, I love stainless steel sound. My acoustic use bronze something rather.
