heres some sites on possible problems... i don't think many of them have to deal with you since your guitar is quality from what i've observed in playing it

http://www.fretnotguitarrepair.com/tuningprobs.htm
http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/columns/ ... ility.html

hope it helps....maybe something to do with your birdge/trem system, but i'm not sure... look those sites over i guess

I'd start out with a complete setup or take it to a reputable tech and have it done.

Not to hijack your thread...but I've got tuning probs too. I put locking tuners (Sperzel) on my MIM, but just tightening the dang locking knobs takes every string right on up and out of tune. I have to jiggle back and forth between the tuning key and the lock knob to hit to sweet spot. :x

There's nothing wrong with having your bridge floating, but if you do alot of dive bombing with it, then that's probably why it's going out of tune.

Just put all your springs back on and that should solve your problem. You also might want to tighten your spring claw down alittle more, that too will help alot.
