who do you think will win it all in 2008?
(P.S. hate comments against other teams will not be necessary.)

The Rays seem to be the new "Beast in the East". It could be a cinderella story...going from worst to first. :?:

It's gonna suck because the Angels aren't in it.
Looks like I gotta root for Boston

The network execs say that a Tampa Bay - Philadelphia World Series will be a ratings disaster. If the W.S. doesn't have a team from one of the major markets (NY, LA, Chi), getting big bucks for ad time is difficult.

Guess they'll just have to wait 'til next year !!!

Yes, it's perfect for the way Americans lead their lives these days. You only need to follow your team once a week (just 3 hrs !) instead of everyday. And there's that handy bye week. It's easy. Sure you may have to get to know both the offensive and defensive players, but half of them are linemen and they don't really count anyway. If any of the myriad officials screw up a call, just stop the game and check the replay.

Then there the history of the game and it's heroes. Baseball has Ruth, Gehrig, Dimaggio, Williams, Ty Cobb, Cy Young. Football has . . . well there's . . . OJ !!!

Nahhh ... we'll just come up with more REALITY TV  for the viewers. Haaaaaaaaaaaaaa Haaaaaaaaa (I work in the entertainment industry and I've just been dying to video paint drying and pitch it to a few network execs. It could happen yet!)

Meanwhile, Rays in 6 though I wish it was the other way around
