Getting a case of GAS.
Thinking of acquiring a Behringer stereo chorus pedal, either a
Chorus Orchestra CO600 or a Ultra Chorus UC100.
To split the signal going into my BOSS RT-20 as apparently its Lesley effect works even better in stereo.
Course that means I may need another tube amp at some point. :?

Any opinions on the Behringer pedals, their price seems almost too low compared to the other brands.

I have an old Boss CE-3 Chorus, I've had for years. I too have been lookong for a better chorus. I play it through one amp and I know I could get better sounds from it if I had 2 big amps. My other amp is a G-DEC and does not have the power my Crate has, plus it isn't compatable for that kind of practicing.

Oh well was at the music shop again today for some unknown reason and fell victim to GAS.

Bought the Behringer Ultra Chorus UC200.

But like a dolt I only bought one extra patch cable with right angle jacks.
So I can't use the 2nd stereo out until next weekend when I can get back to the shop :( .

First thing I notice is its case is made of plastic, hope it holds up to being stomped on.
Now I just need to drill a couple of holes in my pedal board to get it mounted.

I did also pick up a 20 foot planet waves instrument cable with the circuit breaker in it and a few other bits of "stuff".

Went in to make a 40$ purchase, was 150$ by the time I got out the door.

I know this has nothing to do with OP but I bought a Planet Waves solder less pedal board cable kit myself. I'm going to try to make my own patch (customized) fx cables!! :? We will see if I can follow instructions. :?

I also have a Boss CE-3 Stereo Chorus that I bought about 15 years ago. I'm very happy with it. I never thought I needed anything better.

I recently changed the battery in my CE-3 and it sounds a lot better. I've had mine since 1989 and never experienced anything like this. I mean I have had to change the battery before, but not wile the LED light still was bright red. Funny thing was the other battery was not that old. I just thought that the pedal was finally giving out.

I have a Boss CH-1 that I use when I want that sound. It gives a nice stereo effect that varies depending on the spacing between the left and right speakers.

Hi peterp- concerning the Behringer stuff; they do get a bad rap, but unfortunatley it is well deserved as far as reliability is concerned. You will probably find that the pedal will do what it says it will do- the downside is they usually don't stand up well to heavy use. Why anyone would use a plastic housing for a pedal that you stomp on is beyond me
Hopefully, it will be the exception and not the rule for you. Just to throw my two cents in the mix, I have an older DoD Icebox chorus pedal. I picked it up on Ebay for about $20 including shipping. Yes it was used, but it looked brand new and built like a tank, I really like it. The DoD pedals are exactly like the Digitech pedals- I have a couple of those as well (Reverb and Delay) and they are solid and dependable. Good luck.

I also have the Boss CH-1 and I've been very happy with it. All my pedals (and tuner) are Boss, and I've been very happy with them. I also love the steel case, that seems indestructible.

Hope you really enjoy your new pedal. When you go back for the right angle jumper cable, I bet you walk out with a new toy, besides the cable.

But I've been eying one of those little Boss portable micro-br or br-600 recorders, and a new pair of Rokit monitors and and .....

There has to be one of those 12 step programs for GAS!

I'm sorry, this thread lost all credibility at that point. What do you mean, "for some unknown reason"?

C'mon! We ALL know the reason...

Nope it is like magic, I keep ending up a the music shops.
Go grocery shopping end up at a music shop
Go to dentist end up at music shop.

There is some kind of strange attraction that keeps pulling me in!

I've only seen the Danelectro's on the web, the brand is not carried by the shops within easy driving distance of an hour or so.
