You need to ask &/or search for a band name??? With a moniker like AUSTIN COPE, you can't even dream of anything better. Call any band YOU are in: AUSTIN COPE. Simple, straight-forward & non-denominational ....... ambiguous so to speak. IE: It will 'be' whatever kind of music you play.... Nothing to "live up to", like great blues IF it contained some form of Blues in the name: the Ballz-Azz Bluz Band.... "Gargoyle" if you played either Heavy Metal or 'solid cement' music (LOL), etc.

The Rumpelstiltskin Synergy Emplosion
The Louie Louies

A name for an all-girl metal band:

Pig Iron

Now you are just going to have to take my word on this, but I thought of the name Red Hot Chilli Peppers long before the band who now use that handle came along. I added it to a list of names that I was saving for when I was in a band I actually thought might be going somewhere and would deserve such a fine label. (It never happened...)

Seems that name must have been out there floating around in the ether waiting to be used - I'm so glad it didn't get wasted on some dumbo boy-band...

So it seems I am fabulously gifted in the band naming department, if in nothing else. I have several other world beating names up my sleeve - and I am hanging onto them, waiting patiently for what Hunter S Thompson called the right price.

Cheers - C

Do you think the majority knows who Hunter T. is? And who he wrote for? Oh no, I gave a clue! :)

Good grief, I was assuming he'd be a national icon - or symbol of infamy, or something at least.

Don't tell me he's merely forgotten! I grew up on The Great Shark Hunt...
