I was surfin' the web a few days ago when I ran across the web site for Onyx Forge. They make made-to-order custom guitars. Their guitars are beautiful – so much so that I just had to pass this along. The web site is:

http://www.onyxforgeguitars.com/

I hope Fender doesn't mind my posting this, but I don't see Onyx Forge as any sort of competitor.

If you go to the OF web site be sure to follow the links to the final photo as the thumbnails are not that good.

A couple of my favorites ---

Funny - the one I thought was nicest was the one closest to an original Tele.
I do think most other guitar designs look a bit wrong.

Keith was knew what he was talking about. Leo got right first time!

Yes nice, the Tele style you chose there looks interesting with the humbuckers.

I'm so confused by those last sentances...

I think it is close to a Keith Richards quote about the Telecaster.

The guitars on that site are unreal. There was a one-piece "tele" style guitar. From the phone number, I think they are in Orange County, CA.
