Did You See a certain young Blues Rocker in Tennessee on the 10th? I am stoked up for tommorrow night cause he's gonna be here in Charlotte... I can't wait to check out Smokin' Joe. Did he play a setlist similiar to the new Live CD: "Live from Nowhere in Particuliar"? I'm taking my guitar tabs and see if I can get a Sig- I have heard he meets and greets before his shows sometimes. :!: :!: 8)

I did see him. And the set list was very much like the CD.

If he mingled before or after the show, I did not see him - and I was on the lookout. But good luck to you...

It was a smoking hot show, you will enjoy it!!

:!: :!: What a show. I just got back @11:48 Eastern. Joe was all he's cracked up to be. He actually went to the Guitar Center where I got my Axe on layaway just checking out some of the Classics and Vintage pieces they have... like an Old ES 335 Gibby. He may have even got a piece of my guitar-
He went to the Guitar Center and was talking to alot of the guys who work there and play in some local bands. It had been about 2 years since he's played Charlotte. He actually DID stick around after the show to sign for us and take some photos. I have my copy of his "Best Of" guitar Tabs signed now with To: Louis Enjoy From and a big Joe Bonamassa that covers the first page.
The thing that really struck me about Joe is that He's a real Musician... not just the Rock Star. His playing is very disciplined and Lightning fast- yet there's always the emphasis on bends and vibratos. He makes every note or phrase COUNT. This is an influence that's going to stick with me. What a quality, quality show- :D
I was Stoked to see that Joe used a special amp that I am also considering- Orange Amps Tiny Terror Combo... Along with those Marshalls and a couple cabinets. The Tiny Terror definitely has it's one unique voice... Even if it's only rated at 15 Watts plus Tube, it's that British 15 Watts (which sounds more like 40 to my ear, maybe that's just me).

Sweet! I'm seeing Joe Bonamassa tonight in Raleigh at the Lincoln Theatre. Can't wait. Have you heard his show on Sirius Blues 74, it's called "Cup of Joe", and he plays some really good songs during his time.

Outstanding! I am glad that it was such a good show and that you had a chance to get an autograph - I am envious!

Did he have a opening act?
Did you think to wear your forum shirt and get a picture?

SenderKik- How was the Raleigh Show? I am sure he was awesome for you there too!
I don't have a Forum Tee yet- but I will get one... although, I don't normally go to a show like that one in a T- Shirt. Joe usually has on Jeans and a collar... so did I. He's a Class Act.
I am still Very, Very impressed by the show, and his band. I know he'll be around again. I hope he comes back for a few more shows early next year. It looks like he's going to be in Europe throughout the holidays.

I wish I could get to the B.B.King Club in NY- You know that's gonna Rock-

Zorba,
The Bonamassa show was really good. He played a lot of new songs from his CD, which I bought, and played really well. Plus, I did wear my Fender Forum t-shirt, and with the good karma, I got a free ticket into the show. Thanks again for the ticket PBR guy. I'm really glad I went. I'll be thinking of that night for awhile.
