Yawn. I think it's a publicity stunt. The surest way that someone famous can get attention is to tell people to NOT do something, and expect them to follow your wishes, especially if it's unpopular or controversial. Think it'll work? Naaaaaaah. I ain't wasting a stamp on him one way or the other, anyway.

He's an $@!, I hate him. The most untalented drummer in the world. He's lucky he was even in a great band like the Beatles. Any drummer could have filled his shoes. No-talent jerk off.

I figure he's given enough over the last 44 years. He's still touring, still entertaining. He just doesn't want to spend anymore of his down time being "owned" by his fans. Can't say I blame him. He was a Beatle for crying out loud! No one's been more exposed then him. I'd say he's earned a bit of me time finally. FINALLY!

+1
Yeah, it's been forever. You'd have to be an idiot to not understand that he wants to stop. It's understandable.

Uh-oh... Heather's press is rather better elsewhere in the world than at home: she ain't the hate figure in other places that she is here.

I'm afraid the flood-gates are about to open and wash you away, Ian. Take cover...!

(Ian stands, legs slightly apart, chest puffed out, arms folded)

"Don't you worry yourself pretty lady, I can take it!"

(I'm suprised peeps outside the UK even know who the witchy little gold digger is, anyway!)

Funny you say that. I always thought he looked like Arafat's brother, once he got older.
