Get thee to the woodshed! There's a country song in there somewhere. Just add a truck (which has the necessary windshield), beer (which you need because of infidelity troubles and suddenly you need to double your consumption because of the political problems), and infidelity (which is always handy excuse for drinking beer especially after your lady fair ran off for a menage a trois with John McCain and Barack Obama). You're all set. Break out the Tele and let her rip!

Fortunately, my job is pretty stable so I'm no more "buggish" than usual. I hope everyone else can hang tough and make it through this rough patch.

You probably should get working on that country song. Maybe start a thread and we can all contribute to the lyrics. Sort of a Fender Forum collaboration.

The bug deflector above the grille.

Hopefully the disturbed high-speed air will flip the bug off to safety and let the evil windshied pass.

Think win-win.

Well I'm just a bug, on the windshield of life.
Thanks to senile John McCain, Hey,what the hell, I'll go do his wife!

Curious you never made it big ...

There is a country song about this already. I don't recall who sings it, but I believe it goes:

Sometimes you're the windshield, sometimes you're the bug
sometimes you're the Louisville Slugger, sometimes you're the fool in love.

Something like that.

today is definitely bug day, my job's on the skids, didn't get paid for the hours I worked last week, the company I work for is on the floor for the 10 count & I think I hear the fat lady warming up her vocal cords. No fun
THE COUNT JUST HIT 10 & THE FAT LADY IS DONE SINGING, and now there's more bug stuff, I was in the hospital sept. 9th for a few days, my company didn't pay the insurance & now it's seems I owe over 21k
