The other day I said on another post that gas at one station near me was 3.19 but all the others were between 3.40 to 3.49 well now today most are around 3.15 WOW  How they drop 25 to 35 cents over night I dont no. I miss the days when the gas change up or down 1, 2 , 3 cents a gal. at a time. It seems now it is like o no this is happening here gas goes up .50 then starts to go back down slow. Then now it has droped fast and I will bet 2 months from now it will go back up and we may here about heating oil shortage. Or could this present drop be due to the OPEC oil meeting breaking up early because the Saudi's walked out saying they were going to pump what ever oil is needed to help stabilize things and Hugo Chavez and Iran wanted to cut back. I read in the paper that it could mean the end to OPEC if the Saudi's pull out as they said they were! They did not like the bad mouthing from Iran's Ministers and Chavez.

Low $3.40s here.

I haven't seen any in the $3.30s yet.

This is LA, probably the most expensive..we are still $3.69 in my area..but it has been dropping thank goodness. The stuff still costs pennies per gallon to get out of the ground..we are and have been getting hammer bagged big time.

$2.99 here as well, and the falling gas prices have to do with the falling stock markets worldwide.

The "experts" ? say the national average is about $2.85.

More realistically, it looks like about $3.00-$3.15/gal.

$3.29 on Sunday in Montpelier, VT. It is usually about 4 to 5 cents cheaper in Barre for some reason - maybe cheaper rents and/or taxes.

How much of that are taxes? VAT
There are some Countries in the EU I believe have as high as 70% tax on gas.

Where I live it is about UK £1.10 per litre. That converts to $7.22 per US gallon. Yes, really!

And we're not even the most expensive in Europe.

You people really don't know you're born!
