I remember seeing the Steve Gibbons Band once, they were hot.
I think they were supporting ELO at the time.
If you are supporting you are on the same stage and then 'Who knows'

Rhumba, thats just my plan mate. The band i've joined isnt realy my thing, but i've always found that when your out playing you meet all kinds of people and become more 'in demand'. So i'll stick it till something else comes along. Mercenary aint I

Yeh well the music business as always been mercenary, it's an accepted part of progress, stepping stones to higher levels. I know a few guys that have elevated this way. In fact what other way is there?
Go for it man, you're not stopping anyone else from advancing are you?
Good Luck!!

Now I know how easy it was for you to give me the advice that you gave me about my dilemma. Congratulations man on you're find, but just remember that they're counting on you as a player and not just some hit and miss dude that used them to get ahead. That kind of leaves a bad taste to the others that you may meet and burns bridges that can never be crossed again...Just my 2 cents, but on another note I've made my decision for the better of the two purposes that you laid out to me, but this is your gig so...CONGRATS DUDE!!! DO THE RIGHT THING!!!

with a melodic rock band. Soon to be supporting trevor burton (ex the move, blues great). Bands got their own studio and practice room too. Gone are the days of extortionate fee's for room rental.

Congrats! Trevor has quite an impressive list of who he's played with. 8)
