I agree with talking to the kids' parents. You will learn a great deal by their reaction.

I also agree that he sounds like a bully. Absolutely unacceptable behaviour. I would be horrified if an adult told me my son was acting that way. Thank goodness my son has learned respect for instruments, (and animals and people and himself).

Did you ask this little angel why, why he kicked you guitar, why did he try to dammage your personal property and if he did brake it how was he going to pay for the dammages, ask this little angel where he lives so you can play with his toys and yes by all means have a nice little heart to heart with his loveing parents and if this little angel does that sort of thing again you'll burry him so deep they'll have to shovel sunlight down to him.

I agree with parental referral. I've been teaching my pastor's kid some things on the bass and he tends to be rough with everything, so I went over some rules of conduct with them and it has gone well so far.

I'd LOVE to hear about the outcome when you confront this little (insert favorite expletive here) parents about his behavior. Obviously the Pastor's teachings aren't very effective on his own flesh and blood. I'd seriously consider attending another house of worship where you don't have to worry about such behavior. And let the Pastor know PLAINLY that this is the case.
