I didn't read that. You didn't mention a date for this Best Buy exclusive.

I will have to look it up.

I will probably buy it even if it is just an Axl solo album with 101 guest musicians on it.

it has to be pretty damn good for me to buy it and I dont' see that happening since as you post there isn't much of GNR in there. It would be like the Stones with only Mick. It would not really be a Stones album then. Besides I don't see Axl topping Appetite for Destruction.

Ok, maybe not GNR but the title catches my interest and Axl may have done a good job. I'll certainly give it a play.

I have heard it. I think it is really an excellent album.

bee.fm got an advanced copy. You can listen to it there now, if you can't wait.

I'll believe when I see it. There have been rumors of a release at least twice a year, every year, for the last 10+ years.

He's cried wolf so many times in the last ten years I've lost all interest.

Yeah, he could decide that he wants to rerecord it with some new hot shot guitarist he found.

Then we wait another couple of years.

I'm surprised that the name of the album has stayed the same for this long.

I'm suprised the name hasn't changed too. You'd think he'd change it just to avoid the stupidity associated with it.

He pretty much had to keep the name after he had to pay a bunch oof laywers a few years back to keep The Offspring from releasing a CD with the same Chinese Democracy title....

Honestly I could care less.

I feel that G N R shot their wad on Appetite for Destruction. What followed wasn't very good at all.

After the long hiatus, they have lost what little relevance they had.
Great for those wishing to relive their personal glory days of the 80's perhaps.

If you want to hear the not-yet-final version of Chinese Democracy, then check this out:
