You know that I would especially because I'd give it a workout just like the man himself does...I've already got the fretboard on my Straight Six almost worn that bad already after only 4 to 5 months of playing (that's what I get for buying a cheap Strat). Yngwie's the "shred dude" in my book...

I like Yngwie's first 4 albums, but I generally don't buy signature gear no matter what the price is...

I dunno ... Having an exact replica down to the smallest of detail for the number one of Yngwie, Eddie's Frankenstrat, SRV's Lenny, or any one else just does nothing to get my blood pressure up. It's an interesting exercise, but it seems more of a fan thing to me.

I'd be much more excited about getting a run-of-the-mill Billy Corgan or (even though they don't make it anymore) Dave Murray sig Strat. And that has nothing to do with being a Pumpkins or Maiden fan. I think both of those gits have a very cool setup that is very much worth owning.

A new Malmstein signature I would like. But pay a premium price for one that he has already beaten the crap out of, no thank you.
Don't get me wrong, I like Yngwie. I have seen him live thrice and will do so again give the opportunity - but I have no desire for Relics.

We had one of these floating around the office today and I had a chance to noodle on it a bit. Regardless of whether you're into the whole replica thing it is one *KILLER* instrument!

With the economy in the toilet, regardless of the price, winning one is the only way I'd be able to own one. Isn't life grand?
