I'm not a rap fan, but I did go to a Vanilla Ice concert a couple of years ago as a lark....It was one of the best concerts I had ever been to!

To me, "Rap" doesn't even fulfill the requirements for it to be called music. Rather, it's simply someone ranting to a cadence of monotonous background noise. YMMV.

It really isnt my glass of sweet tea(southern), but I also believe that we have a choice of what we listen to. I am quite sure that when we were growing up listening to what we wanted, our parents were in the other room, ready to call a psychiatrist, or contact an exorcist conductor.
I grew up listening to AC/DC, Black Sabbath,Cream etc. Now that I am older I have broadend my music perspective to include all types of music, except Rap. I have tried it , just dont care for it. I don't care for it being shoved into my ears by a 20000watt stereo while waiting for the light to change. When It viberates MY mirrors, and I can feel it reverberating through my body making my eyeballs wiggle, it's too loud! Maybe I should invest in the hearing aid market!
Its a sure future in an uncertain market economy.
My vote would be a no.
