How about:
B.B. King
Ry Cooder
Bonnie Raith
Robert Cray
Alvin Lee
Johnny Winter
Gary Moore
Albert King
Muddy Waters
Albert Collins
Freddie King
Peter Green
Elmore James
Billy Gibbons
John Lee Hooker
T-Bone Walker
Derek Trucks
Rory Gallagher
Jeff Healey
Duane Allman
Otis Rush

I think all of them should be on the list, and there is no one who is best....

A tough call for me between EC and SRV, but I wound up voting for SRV because while EC has impeccable technique and can play ANYTHING flawlessly, I think SRV played more with and from his heart than most other players I've had the good fortune to hear.

Just one bass player's opinion!

I agree! SRV was so good playing strait from the love of blues. :D R.I.P.

I wanted to put them all up. Too much and the list would be to long.

I agree with all except Bonnie Rait. Except for SOME of her slide work she's never really been my cup of tea. And add Earl Hooker to this list.

By the way imho this poll should have separated the acoustic players from the electric players. I picked Robert Johnson but I would also pick SRV for the newer electric stuff.

A big topic this one Eddie, there are so many.

I'm a Snowy White fan, but lots from the lists above hit the mark.
